As you already know, the entire Seattle campus is experiencing a power
outage.  The OCIO computer room servers and comm. devices remain up and
running on emergency power but end user workstations are all down.  

Seattle City Light has been contacted and estimates several hours before
recovery.  No cause has been communicated to us and no guarantee on when
power will actually be restored.  

Employees are being sent home by the OCAO Building Management team.
 However, some OCIO employees will remain on-site until more accurate
information can be obtained on the outage and the recovery period.

I will keep you posted on any progress or estimates on recovery time.
