[Woc-notify] ITC impact from SSMC3 power outage coming 7/20/2012

On July 20, 2012 - 18:00 eastern time - Building three on the Silver 
Spring Campus (SSMC3) will be undergoing critical repairs to power 
wiring, from 9pm on 7/20 through 2pm on 7/21, due to damage done by the 
recent fire. As a result, all equipment in the SSMC3 building will begin 
powering down at or about 6pm on Friday 7/20. While the WOC is 
geographically redundant, and the MOC is now using the Google Cloud for 
email service, the NOC will experience an extended network connectivity 
outage. Quite aside from the impact on the ITC, it is highly recommended 
that all systems that rely on the NOC coordinate the impact of this 
outage with NOC personnel, or contact their NOAA Infrastructure 
Operations Coordination Committee (IOCC) representative. For the ITC, 
the Finance TLS circuit, Treasury Link,  and Finance WAN connectivity 
should remain up, but internet access both to and from the ITC will be 
down. Most ITC users will lose connectivity to their systems for at 
least 17 hours.

Systems at the ITC will remain up, but the network to reach them from 
the NOC will be down. If any ITC clients MUST have access to the ITC 
systems at this time, they will need to either find a facility with TLS 
connectivity, or arrange to visit the ITC in person.
