US_IODE -- US IOC/IODE Information

About US_IODE
English (USA)

Background: The International Oceanographic Data and Information Exchange (IODE) of the IOC of UNESCO was established to enhance marine research, exploitation and development, by facilitating the exchange of oceanographic data and information between participating Member States, and by meeting the needs of users for data and information products. However, the information about IODE activities does not always reach to Federal agencies and other interested stakeholders across the U.S. As the U.S. National Coordinator for Oceanographic Data Management at IODE, I am making an effort to help correct it. This group email is a starting point. I welcome all of your constructive ideas and comments.
