Hi all,

Wanted you all to see what can be done with NOAA's geoserver.

The NMFS Social Indicators project describes and evaluates community
well-being in terms of social, economic and psychological welfare.

We uploaded the indicator shapefile data to geoserver, which consisted of
community boundary polygons and associated social indicator attributes.
Then we created a SQL view layer that could be called dynamically depending
on the indicator attribute we wanted to map. Finally we created styles that
color-coded our polygons based on our chosen indicator value.

The web map itself was developed using the openlayers API.

Check it out and let us know what you think!
